Shuang Wu
Shuang Wu [sh-u-awn-g] is an independent designer and educator. She is currently an assistant professor in graphic design at Virginia Tech. Previously, Shuang lectured at Kansas City Art Institute (KCAI), Texas State University and the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). As a designer, Shuang co-runs OUR STUDIO 吾设计 with two other partners in Shanghai. In the past, she designed at Champions Design, MICA, NetEase, and Wix.com.
Shuang's work spans diverse media, ranging from traditional print to digital and interactive platforms. With a focus on blending approachability and informative elements, her creative exploration resonates with audiences through both multicultural and artistic lenses.
Her designs have earned international recognition from various institutions, including Communication Arts (CA), Dezeen, the Society of Typographic Arts (STA), and the International Design Awards (IDA).
