Associate Professor of Studio/Creative Technologies
Eric Standley is an internationally recognized artist known for his multi-layered CNC laser processes. His work has been exhibited in over one hundred and twenty galleries and museums around the world and are a part of many national and international collections including the Palace of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, the Scherenschnitt Museum, Germany and the Zupi Collection of São Paulo, Brazil. In 2018 he began working with scientists to investigate chromatin architecture and DNA fractal geometries. From these investigations he has created artifacts that use fractal configurations from the most profoundly universal building blocks of life.
Eric is represented by Victori + Mo in New York City, the Marta Hewett Gallery and Media Force of Tokyo, Japan. He received his BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and his MFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
