Dustin Dennis is an interdisciplinary artist and designer. His practice and research is often inspired by states between explained and unexplained phenomena related to science, nature and culture. 


Dennis owns and operates a 3D printed jewelry design company, Polygonal Encyclopedia. His designs have been featured on such websites as Wirecutter and the Nerdist.


He has exhibited sculptures, digital prints, photographs and video installation across the US at such locations as Tiger Strikes Astroid in New York City, the Clough-Hanson Gallery at Rhodes College and the Art and Design Gallery at the University of Kansas.


Dennis received his BFA in New Media from the Kansas City Art Institute and a MFA in Sculpture from the Rhode Island School of Design. Previous to his appointment at Virginia Tech, Dennis taught Drawing in the Creative Core Program at Indiana, University in Bloomington, IN.
